WISE consultants
Urged to recruit their clients into Scientology for extra income

The following is taken from Prosperity 62, published by World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE) International, March 2004, page 24. It is meant to get consultants to route their clients, which consists for a large part of dentists, veterinarians, chiropractors, podiatrists and other Health Care Professionals, into Scientology. That way, the WISE magazine says, they can generate extra income by getting commissions of what those recruited people buy in Scientology.

World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE) consultants are urged to recruit clients into Scientology for extra income The text version reads:

7. What will a career in consulting mean for my Bridge progress?

In a word: Acceleration! Consultants were contacted regarding their Bridge progress - 79% are OT III or higher (with 36% on OT VII or OT VIII). Doing something that's right on your purpose line, introducing a flood of new people to LRH tech and getting them onto The Bridge, all of it speeds your progress to OT. And realize that when you're disseminating full time you have two sources of income, your consulting fees and FSM commissions from clients reaching to handle ruins in their personal lives who are introduced to Scientology -- all increasing your standard of living and allowing you more time for Bridge progress.

It would be too much work to translate all the Scientology-speak, especially so because there's an nice critical glossary already, I can give you the gist of it in understandable English (I hope). Here's a break-down:

  1. First, "Bridge" is their word for Scientology path
  2. OT stands for "Operating Thetan" and OT III & OT VII - OT VIII refers to the formerly-secret exorcism levels of Scientology . Reaching that level has costed those scientologist WISE consultants many tens of thousands, and more likely well over a hundred thousand dollars or more. On those levels they are told they are possessed by the spirits of disembodied space aliens, complete with tales of a Galactic warlord named Xenu (I kid you not!)
  3. LRH tech = L. Ron Hubbard's "technology" or his way of managing. Hubbard was a Sci-Fi writer famous for the words "You don't get rich writing science fiction. If you want to get rich, you start a religion." And then he proceeded and founded Scientology and Dianetics.
  4. FSM = "Field Staff Member". That is a recruiter for Scientology and they make a percentage (10-15%) of the money their recruits spend on Scientology therapy and training. The incentive is enormous to recruit a dentist who spends a 100 grand or more.

So basically WISE consultants have become de facto Scientology recruiters by proxy. And on top of that, a solid 79% are into the delusion they are possed and need to excocise the spirits of disembodied space aliens using expensive Scientology procedures. I don't know how about you but I don't want to give someone like that the keys of my company nor my mind.
