A DISBARRED lawyer with Mob connections and a Methuen man linked to organized crime were arrested yesterday and charged with trying to bilk the Church of Scientology out of $100,000, said officials. FBI agents yesterday arrested a New Hampshire man and a disbarred lawyer on charges of extorting $33,000 from the Church of Scientology by offering false information about a scheme to steal $2 million from the church.
