For the first time, Albuquerque city officials got an inside look at a controversial drug rehab facility that was recently shut down. The Second Chance Rehab Center was based at the old city jail on the Mesa until the city ordered them to move out in December because of violations of a lease agreement. The controversial drug rehabilitation center Second Chance abruptly closed up Saturday leaving questions about where it sent 19 inmates housed at the West Side facility. The City of Albuquerque said when they got word Saturday afternoon something was happening at the Second Chance, they sent police officers to check it out.
